LEAP is Unique and Not for Everyone
LEAP is quite different from most other Communities and we strongly encourage you to check if there is a good fit for you before you sign up.
First and foremost, we ask that you carefully consider our Code of Respect and Conduct — if what is written there speaks to You and You agree to do your best to conduct yourself accordingly, LEAP may well be for you.
Equally as important, we encourage discernment and constructive interchanges. However, that is very different from actively denigrating or attacking others whose approach to life is different from yours. If you have no tolerance for others who differ in their outlook, lifestyle and perspectives and feel the need to criticize them, LEAP is likely not a good fit for you.

Finally, unlike most other platforms, we are not trying to get you to spend all of your time here on LEAP. On the contrary, our intention is simple: To provide a well-organized, online Space that makes it easy for us to come together, to exchange essential resources and information, and to help us connect and collaborate with each other, allowing many more of Us to be inspired and empowered to live our Fullest and most Productive off-line Lives.
Important Platform Considerations ~ Remaining Independent and fully Agenda-free
The most challenging aspect of creating this Community has been to find a platform that would allow us to maximize functionality and features, while minimizing external influence – such as questionable access to and use of what we share online (for more info, see our Support Us page). As it turns out, all of the major community platforms that are currently available have severe limitations that we very much wanted to avoid. To accomplish that, we deliberately chose a more independent and non-commercial platform for LEAP, in spite of the greater financial resources and technical expertise involved.
To make it possible for us to do so and still remain fully independent and agenda-free, we are also choosing to take a crowd-funding approach, rather than having to rely on external funding sources that tend to come with agendas of their own.
